PESHAWAR: Flash floods after heavy rains in Kohistan region have killed at least 16 people and many were missing, Geo News reported.
According to the police, the floods destroyed many houses after heavy rains and land sliding in Gabrial union council of Kundian valley. Local administration has sought government help because of the terrain and the area can only be accessed through helicopter.
Last year floods had caused immense destruction the upper areas and claimed hundreds of lives.
